FUMC Adult Sunday School Classes


Our adult Sunday Schools classes meet from 10:00 to 10:50 AM each Sunday morning between the Contemporary and Traditional Services.  

Below is a brief description of each class. As each class is a welcoming family, please feel free to visit as you wish.

  • The Bereans class -

    Meeting Room:     Room 39 (off courtyard)    10 - 10:50 am

    Facilitator:              All class members participate in facilitating the class

    The class allows the Spirit to lead on topics to be studied.

    This class is for anyone who wants to ask questions and find answers using scripture. 

    "They leave no stone unturned and do not rush through any topic".

  • Seekers class - 

    Meeting Room:    Wilson Parlor   10 - 10:50 am


    Study of the Bible and current Christian topics and authors through informative and engaging discussions utilizing class notes emailed to each class member.

    For adult couples and singles of all ages.

  • Round table class - 

    Meeting Room:     Room #10  10 - 10:50 am

    Facilitators:            Harry Sargent, Darlene Sargent

    Lecture/discussion format that focuses on Bible-inspired guidance for Christian faith and living. The subject matter varies with the interests of the class. Each class begins with the singing of hymns from the Cokesbury Hymnal.

    Meeting Room:     Room 11 (Asbury Room)     10 - 10:50 am

    Bible study and open discussion with a focus on how to apply the Bible to our daily lives. Learning to love God and others through the Word of God.

    For adults of all ages.
